Governors Ball Festival 2024: See the best photos

The 2024 edition of Governors Ball, New York City's annual music festival that promises many photo-worthy stage moments, kicked off a three-day run on Friday, June 7. Here you will find the best photographs of Gov Ball. .

Three large stages in use for three consecutive days at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens welcome hit artists such as Post Malone, Rauw Alejandro, The Killers, 21 Savage, SZA and Peso Pluma. Carly Rae Jepsen, Sabrina Carpenter and Renee Rapp are just a few of the many other highly anticipated acts at the Gov Ball bill.

The first night, Post Malone (featured in the photo gallery below) delivered all the hits, and he's got plenty of them, even if he kept his introduction humble enough: “My name is Austin Richard Post, and I'm here. play some shitty songs and fuck around a little while we do it.”

Rauw Alejandro (also in the photos below) delivered a performance packed with boundless energy and dance moves, which tied back to his roots in the city.

“I have always had a special connection with this city,” said the Puerto Rican star. “My dad was born in Brooklyn. It is a meeting point for many cultures. Many of us leave our country in search of opportunities and dreams. And I feel that here you can fulfill all the dreams you want to make in life. In my case, a dream is coming true by sharing it here with all of you, a dream that I am living today, thanks to all of you who have supported me from day one.”
