Gracie Abrams has teamed up with Taylor Swift on her new song, Us.
Gracie has released her new 13-track album, The Secret of Us, which includes her collaboration with the music superstar, titled Us.
The collaboration comes shortly after Gracie joined Taylor as her opening act on the North American leg of her sold-out Eras Tour last year.
Us was co-written by the two singers and produced by Taylor’s regular collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner.
On the track, Gracie and Taylor sing, “I know you know/ It felt like somethin’ old / It felt like somethin’ holy, like souls bleedin’ / So, it f?lt like what I’ve known/ You’re tw?nty-nine years old / So how can you be cold when I open my home?”
It has been speculated on social media that the song is about Gracie’s rumoured ex-boyfriend Dylan O’Brien, but this has not been confirmed.
In a new interview with Billboard, Aaron gushed about the two hitmakers.
“It was just really fun to watch the chemistry of Gracie and Taylor bouncing off each other,” he shared. “Gracie in total wonder and awe watching how Taylor records and produces her vocal performances and builds the world.”
The producer added that the collaboration “brought everything” about the 24-year-old’s new album “into focus in a beautiful way”.
The Secret of Us, Gracie’s sophomore album, follows her debut, Good Riddance, which was released in February last year.
