The sales number was enough to surpass the record per cap of $95.94 set at last year's Grammys. With about 11,000 in attendance at the arena, Levy's final food sales for Sunday night (Feb. 4) were well north of $1 million. The 66th Grammy Awards also generated $5.14 in merchandise sales per attendee, with items designed and manufactured by the Recording Academy and sold by Crypto.com's retail partner Levy Rank + Rally.

The Crypto.com Arena opened in the fall of 1999 and has hosted the Grammys 21 times in the past 25 years. Zeidman said the concession per attendance at the Grammys is 50 percent higher than at major venue sporting events, including the NBA Finals, NHL Finals and NBA All-Star Game.
Viewership for the 2024 Grammy Awards was up 34% from last year, averaging 16.9 million viewers and marking the show's largest audience since 2020.
