Grupo Firme is ready for more desmadre.
On Monday, the Música Mexicana superstar band led by Eduin Caz announced that they will be bringing their La Última Peda tour to the US this summer. The tour title, which roughly translates to The Last Drunken Party, seems to suggest a farewell.
However, a spokesperson for LiveNation confirms it Rolling rock that the tour is not a farewell, and its title is more of a play on the feeling of a hangover when you promise not to drink again.
Speculation of a farewell from the “Ya Supérame” band arose when frontman Eduin Caz announced last summer that he was retiring. He later was retrieved the decision, apologizing to his teammates, and returned to touring in December.
The group will kick off their US tour on Mexico's Mother's Day, May 10, at San Antonio's Frost Bank Center, before making stops in Miami, Tampa, Newark and Nashville through August. The band will continue performing until the end of October, before wrapping up the tour at Los Angeles' BMO Stadium.
tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 22nd at 10am local time. Fans with Citi presale access can begin purchasing tickets beginning March 19.
The group's tours have headlined in the past – they sold out seven consecutive shows at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena and were also the first band to play the main stage at Coachella. They were also the first Mexican music acts to announce a third appearance at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium.
