His boys Grupo Frontera is ready to bring their new album Jugando a Que No Pasa Nada on the road. On Monday, just three days after releasing their sophomore album, the cumbia-norteña group announced that it will be released later this year.
The group will kick off the tour in Las Vegas, before hitting major markets like Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego. They will close their concert series with a homecoming show in Rio Grande Valley, Texas.
tickets will be available to the public on Friday, May 17 at 10am. local time while presale tickets begin Tuesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. Fans can also purchase VIP tickets, which include meet and greets with the band members.
Jugando a Que No Pasa Nada includes songs like “Por Qué Será” with Maluma, “Desquite” with Nicki Nicole, “Echándote de Menos” and “Ibiza”. There's also a cumbia with Morat called “Los Dos”, sung by the Frontera boys Rolling rock served as a full-circle moment for them after blowing up Frontera with a cover of “No Se Va” last year.
“They were proud of us and had never seen an artist release a cover of a song and go viral a little bit more than the original. But at that point, we were hoping that we might have a song together one day,” singer Payo Solis said. “The song we have with them, they wrote it just for us, and when they sent it to us we were like, 'Why don't you go?' They wanted to test the waters first.”
