Gunna season is back. The YSL rapper announced on Monday (April 15) his official plans for a new album titled One from Wun.
While the Atlanta native didn't reveal a release date for the new project, he did reveal the LP's artwork. Designed by Calvin Clausell Jr., Gunna continues the floral theme from A gift and a curse as his face is covered in a mixture of blue and white flower petals.
Gunna started the mood for One from Wun with a pair of singles, “Bittersweet” and “Prada Dem,” which features an assist from Offset. Alongside the announcement of the album, the 30-year-old released a special performance video for “Bittersweet” showcasing his new dental work.
The “Fukumean” rapper is set to hit the road with Flo Milli this spring for 16 shows as part of The Bittersweet tour starting in May. Stops are planned for Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Houston, Miami and more before wrapping up the tour with a show in Atlanta at the State Farm Arena on June 11.
of Guna A gift and a curse The album arrived in June 2023 and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 85,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The album's second single “Fukumean” earned Gunna his first No. 1 hit on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and topped the Rhythmic Airplay chart as well.
The new LP comes after Gunna's lengthy legal battle in the ongoing YSL RICO trial. In December 2022, Gunna pleaded to an Alford plea to be released from prison and effectively end his involvement in the case.
