Gunna certainly isn't lacking in the confidence department as he backs himself as “Him All Along” on his latest single. The Atlanta rapper returned to deliver the lush visuals on the Turbo and Yung Bleu-produced track on Tuesday (November 12).
In the clip, YSL and Turbo head to Spain for a luxury vacation. The pair take some time to hit the links for a round of golf while dressed to the nines in more embellished outfits. Even if their discs were hooked and had a few broken nozzles, the duo would still look good doing it as they lit up a few cigars during the round. “They tried to stunt my growth, I was steady chasing my goals,” Wunna raps while seemingly blocking out all the outside noise and distractions in his life.
The second half of the video focuses on Gunna's Family Fall Fest where he gives back to the community. Guna donated a $12,000 check to a family in need and mingled with young fans who consider him a neighborhood superhero.
There was even a little dessert for fans left wanting more. The 31-year-old paired the end of the video with a snippet that teases an ethereal track that could serve as Gunna's next single. “I want my respect, damn it, I made a check,” he raps while walking through his private jet.
“Him All Along” arrived in October and peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's currently at No. 99 this week.
Guna is fresh and finishing his Wun of Dem Nights tour, which closed shop earlier in November with a show in Los Angeles. It looks like he's ready to start his next season just six months later One from Wunarrival of The LP was released in May and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
