“The fact that we were able to participate, let alone play Billboard Women in Music was an incredible experience,” she says in an interview with Billboard. “I was in awe all evening with the overflow of energy generated by the music and inspiring artists who came together to celebrate Women's History Month. It was truly an amazing opportunity that I never would have imagined and I know that the members and I are incredibly grateful that we were able to attend and perform.”
Now, the NewJeans singer is encouraging you to ditch the platform heels and slip on some comfy sandals. For the footwear brand's ongoing Spring/Summer 2024 global campaign, 'Super Shy' infused her own style, including a controversial combination that still has fashion influencers talking about its fashion: socks and sandals.

“I think it's such a unique but fun way to dress that really varies with each person's character or personal style preference,” she says.
