It looks like the previously teased Marshmello heavy era is just beginning.
Earlier this month, Mello debuted a previously unreleased collaboration with Space Laces during his performance at Thailand's 808 Festival. Now, the masked EDM superstar has teamed up with another of modern bass music's stars and the man behind the genre's most talked about song last year, HOL!.
The producer behind “Country Riddim” took to X to share a snippet of his upcoming track with Marshmello. Showing just 16 seconds of the unreleased track, HOL! gave fans a taste of the song's build-up before the lyrics, “You better keep moving” give way to a color-striped bass. The song feels like a perfectly measured blend of Marshmello's signature sound and music's most exciting and promising bass sound.
As of this writing, the title and release date of HOL! and Marshmello's next collaboration is not yet known. Check out the preview below.
