Appearing in 2008 as 1/3 of the alternative hip hop group Das Racist, he released a few mixtapes Nehru jacket & Wild Water Kingdom as well as the full-length debut album Eat Pray Thug following their breakup in 2012. Hima formed his own Mass Appeal Records imprint Veena Sounds and joined forces with new label's in-house producer Lapgan on his critically acclaimed sophomore effort Lafandarnow looking to go back to back Veena.

Following the eponymous intro, first song “Ratatouille” is a colorful boom opener that speaks of feeling more confident than ever, while Vijay Iyer's “Manto” works on more kicks and snares turning jazz influences all the way through facing this shit like it's his mission. “Bourdain” with Mr. Cheeks keeps things underground talking organically about staying awake and then the “Underbelly” skit, “Rakhi” with Ajji and Pavvan touching with the drill is a little boastful.

Navz-47's “Flowers” fits into a hypnotically spacious Middle Eastern vibe that speaks of love, and after the break of “Juhi,” the song “Dame” is about a dancer who shows he's wiser than Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And before the “Righteous” outro, the final song “Banshee” featuring Cool Calm Pete slickly finds the 2 arriving.
“Flowers” featuring Nevz-47 goes for a massive Middle Eastern vibe while talking about love, and after the interlude of “Juhee,” the song “देम” shoots for a dance groove that reflects है की वह तेंजेज मुटेंट निजा टर्ल स्प्लिन्टर से अधिक विभिष्ट है. Lafandar was such an incredible comeback and Mass Appeal Records debut from the former member of Das Racist, but Veena matches if not surpasses the same caliber as the previous album released earlier in the year. Lapgan equitably splits the production with Sid Vashi so that Hima can dedicate to his mother.
