As GUSTAF IX himself says: “The project is called HEMMMA (home in Swedish) precisely because I don't know what the word means. I was born in Sweden, raised in Australia, and honed my craft in New York City. My life has stretched without a true sense of center. The song “Pridelems” is about avoiding your problems to the point of never coming back, seeing the damage that pride can cause, and the effect that instability had on my life and relationships.”
