Here are the Radio Hall of Fame inductees for 2024

Crook & Chase, Diane Rehm, Larry Elder and Richard Blade is among the well-known radio professionals nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame. Howard Stern, who has long expressed disinterest in joining the institution, is not among the 24 nominees announced today by The Museum of Broadcast Communications. Inductees were selected by the Radio Hall of Fame's nominating committee, with input from the radio industry and listeners.

More than 900 industry members will receive a ballot on Monday, May 20, to vote for up to six nominees. Voting will last until Monday, June 3. The top six vote-getters will be inducted as part of the Radio Hall of Fame induction class of 2024. The two additional inductees who will make up the eight-person induction class will be selected by the Radio Hall of Fame nominating committee.

The eight 2024 Radio Hall of Fame inductees will be announced on Monday, June 17 and will be honored at the 2024 Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Thursday, September 19 at the Omni Nashville Hotel in Nashville.

Dennis Greenco-chairman of the Radio Hall of Fame, said in a statement: “The 2024 Radio Hall of Fame inductees represent one of the most diverse groups of talent we have ever honored.”

Craig T. Kitchinco-chairman of the Radio Hall of Fame, added, “I encourage every industry member who receives a confidential ballot to participate in selecting this year's inductees.”

The Radio Hall of Fame was established by Emerson Radio Corporation in 1988. The Broadcast Communications Museum took over the Hall in 1991.
