The release is heightened by Lovelady’s own personal praise, declaring it her best song yet. Say says, “This song is a metaphor for life’s journey with its twists and turns and all its struggles, but with perseverance and determination, you can conquer your own personal mountain. This song speaks to the soul!”
Lovelady’s musical journey began in the cosy embrace of her Nan and Grandad’s house, where she found her passion for music through the timeless tunes of Doris Day, Frank Sinatra and Mario Lanza. Later venturing into the music scene, Lovelady approached a small independent recording studio in Liverpool with a bold request to record her version of Chris De Burgh’s classic Christmas song, ‘A Spaceman Came Travelling’. The track gained significant traction on YouTube, laying the foundation for the rising artist’s fast growing fanbase.
Having garnered radio support from BBC London, BBC Merseyside, BBC Cumbria and Radio 6, she is now gearing up for upcoming live shows in Liverpool and London. Holly Lovelady reflects, “Last year was a wild journey! I learned so much personally and creatively. I discovered who I am as an artist and now as a singer-songwriter. I’m not going to lose sight of that. I’m confident in myself and my work, just going to persevere, be kind, and be brave.”
Named after the infamous mountain in the Lake District, her new track ‘Helvellyn’ symbolises life’s challenges and rewards and as the release date fast approaches, the excitement surrounding the new release continues to build and fans can expect nothing short of a mesmerising musical journey from Holly Lovelady.
