Shaboozey's “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” bounces back to No. 5 of Bulletin boardCountry Airplay Chart (dated November 30). In the viewing week of November 15-21, the hit drew 22.9 million viewers, according to Luminate.
Of the 30 weeks the Virginian's track has been on Country Airplay, 18 have been in the top five, including seven weeks at the top beginning in early August. It ties Post Malone's 2024 crossover hit “I Had Some Help” (featuring Morgan Wallen) for the sixth-longest stay in the top five since the chart's launch in 1990. Cole Swindell's “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” holds the record (24 weeks, 2022-23).
Hubbard Broadcasting Seattle director of operations and KPNW director Scott Mahalick says “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has cemented itself in the format “because Shaboozey is so passionate about country music. At the end of the day, he's an optimist summer record that's fun and non-political. The listeners have spoken – they love it.”
