What is Metallica's 2025 North American tour?

Metallica’s tour, which runs into 2025, will continue its “weekend of no-repeat” format. The band will once again play two nights in various cities, but each night will feature a different setlist of songs from across their career. That means fans who get tickets to both shows won’t hear the same song twice.

After kicking off the tour in April 2025 with a set at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, Metallica will play multi-night stadium shows in Toronto, Nashville, Philadelphia, Tampa, Houston, Santa Clara and Denver.

There are also several one-night-only dates on the itinerary in Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston and more, but all shows will feature full production and the massive circular stage seen on Metallica’s previous “M72” dates.

Tickets for Metallica's 2025 North American tour will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, September 27 at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticket MasterThe band will be hosting a variety of ticket pre-sales in the days leading up to the public sale, including a pre-sale for members of their Fifth Member fan club on Monday, September 23 and a Live Nation Advance Ticket Sales Thursday, September 26 (use the access code LIST OF SETS).
