Calling all Celine Dion fans! Prime Video's new documentary, I am: Celine Dion, premieres Tuesday (June 25). Directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, the documentary offers an inside look at the iconic singer's life and challenges, focusing on her health battle with Stiff Person Syndromea rare autoimmune neurological disorder.
“I have not beaten the disease as it is still in me and always will be. I hope we find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it. This is me, now with Stiff Person Syndrome,” Dion shared Vogue France in May. “I undergo sports, physical and voice therapy. I'm working on my toes, my knees, my calves, my fingers, my singing, my voice… I have to learn to live with it now and stop questioning myself.”
The documentary is produced by Stacy Lorts, Tom Mackay, Julie Begey Seureau and Irene Taylor.
