Ice Cube is a fan of Caitlin Clark.
So much so, that the entrepreneur and rapper's Big3 League offered 22-year-old college basketball star Caitlin Clark a $5 million deal, according to People.
Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz's Big3 League was founded in 2017 and features 12 teams playing in a three-on-three format. Clark was offered a contract for eight regular season games and possibly two playoff games if her team qualifies.
While the Big3 says the offer would not affect Clark's lineup for the WNBA draft, Cube noted that Clark's team has yet to respond.
“They have him and if they want to sign him, we'd love him to play in the Big3,” Cube noted during Pat McAfee report on Wednesday (March 27).
“This is a special situation, a special player that moves the needle in a lot of different areas, you know, ratings, attendance, ticket sales,” Cube added. “Of course, our sponsors are very interested in a player like him. This is our first look at planning to continue aggressively because we know it's going to move the needle in the league and that's where we want to be.”
