Ice Spice wowed at the 2024 Oscars and Vanity Fair afterparty in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 10), but not everyone was a fan of her wardrobe choices.
The Bronx native wasn't taking any criticism for her look, as Ice Spice clapped back at someone who thought she was removing her lace Dolce & Gabbana dress from the post-show shindig.
“Wish her stylist would try harder…same lace bodysuit back to back,” one person wrote on X. Hours later, the 24-year-old responded to the critic. “Let's see the ub—-s on custom dolce,” he replied on Monday (March 11). Her response had more than 74,000 likes at press time.
The fan – who goes from 1800 Viagra to X – had his responses flooding in and backed the original comment claiming it was a misunderstanding. “I'm not even mad at you, ouch” they wrote.
The “Princess Diana” rapper eventually apologized for the attack, claiming her feelings were hurt. “I'm sorry 4 cause I just tried to hurt your feelings before you hurt mine,” she wrote.
Ice Spice seemed to love the black lace dress that hugged her curvaceous figure as she showed off several clips and photos from her first Oscar with slideshow posted on Instagram on Monday.
“Effortless,” SZA commented on the post.
On the music side, Ice Spice is turning her attention to her debut album, which she said last week she had finished recording.
She was teasing her fans Y2K with a Monday tweet revealing that another superstar feature had been completed. “Another sick feature made #y2k,” Spice wrote.
Y2K it's without a release date so far, but it's expected to arrive later this year. “I think this is one of my best jobs,” he previously said Advertising signwhile also hinting that “it won't be too long – it'll be sweet and timely.”
The “Munch” rapper — who was this year's Billboard Women in Music Hitmaker honoree — scored four top 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023 alone.
