Ice Spice is in the midst of releasing her debut album Y2K!.
Earlier today, the Bronx rapper posted a video of herself rapping an unreleased song with the caption “phattt buttttttttt” and has a clear message for her competition: Stop bitin'.
“I got these b— copy my pose/ Got these b— bite all my flows/ Like ballerinas, keep 'em on their toes/ And I'm writing real, like a ghost f—ka,” he raps in the preview.
Ice Spice – who's one of the hottest female rappers around, according to us – recently announced her debut album, artwork and a world tour.
She got some backlash from David LaChapelle's album cover on which album” data-type=”link” data-id=”https://www.complex.com/music/a/alex-ocho/ice-spice-reacts-to-fans-improved-version-of-her-y2k-album” target=”_blank”>she replied to a fan who “corrected” the cover in a tweet that had been deleted as “delulu”.
So far, he has released two singles 'U Think U the Shit? (Fart)' and 'Gimmie a Light' with the former peaking at No. 37 on the Hot 100 chart. He also made a guest appearance on Cash Cobain and Bay Swag's “Fisherrr (Remix)” as he continues to push New York's “Sexy Drill” scene forward.
This album will be her first project since 2023 Like..? EP that reached No. 15 and turned her into a superstar.
There is still no word on the actual name of the song or when it will be released, but it should be soon as her album is supposed to be released next month. Y2K! is set to take place on July 26th and her world tour kicks off in Denmark on July 4th.
