Returning to scenic Mulberry Mountain with a vengeance in 2024, Backwoods Music Festival organizers have announced their largest lineup to date.
Scheduled for June 6-9 in Ozark, Arkansas, this year's festival marks Backwoods' 16th anniversary. With over 100 acts spread across four stages, festival-goers can expect a wide range of musical talent across the genre spectrum.
The line-up is impressive and features headliners ILLENIUM, Jai Wolf, STS9 and a “new live experience” from renowned electronic music producer Opiuo, among others. The main bill also features the long-awaited live debut of LSZEE, the collaborative alias of bass music superstars LSDREAM and CloZee.
Elsewhere in the lineup are The Crystal Method, Kasablanca, Slow Magic, Manic Focus, Emancipator and EDM.com Class of 2022 star Wreckno. As part of the festival experience, attendees can also expect a host of special experiential activations, including a “Tycho Taco Party” and a stage takeover by CloZee's Odyzey label.
Inspired by spirituality and consciousness, LSDREAM's side project Lightcode also joins the programming, a sure highlight alongside Backwoods' numerous surreal art installations. It is complemented by three days of R&R workshops covering yoga, meditation, breathing, fluid arts and philosophy sessions.
