Indira Paganotto is back with Heaven is for warriorsa new EP now available on his own ARTCORE label.
Exploring the theme of the “dark divine,” the EDM.com Class of 2023 star has released one of the best techno records of the year. With rhythms as primal as the heartbeat but intricate as Celtic knots, it shows that paradise is not found in comfort, but in movement.
The EP is led by its raucous title track, where operatic vocals come into focus before a driving, psytrance-influenced beat takes over. Like a Valkyrie descending from the storm clouds, Paganotto unleashes her battle cry through an intense and spine-tingling techno arrangement.
Elsewhere, he goes for blood on the relentless “Requiem,” producing pulverizing kick drums and driving percussion that surges forward while frenetic synths swirl in the shadows.
