This goes for “smack talk,” a vicious trap track released just moments ago via esteemed Asian hip-hop collective and record label 88rising. Following ISOxo's surprise appearance during Knock2 and RL Grime's b2b set at Ultra Miami 2024, the track quickly became one of the most anticipated IDs of the festival.
“Smack Talk” is a bold middle finger to expectations, showcasing the production prowess of two rising superstars alongside one of trap music's most influential producers. The song evokes classic festival trap vibes with its booming 808s, but masterfully takes the genre to new heights with ISOxo's signature metallic rolls, Knock2's pulsing basslines, and Grime's atmospheric builds.
The track comes amid a busy year for ISOxo and Knock2, who were named to the EDM.com Class of 2022 and 2023, respectively. Collectively known as ISOKNOCK, the duo debuted at Coachella in April and Knock2 is now gearing up to release their debut album, Unlimitedlater in 2024.
