J. Cole's Dreamville festival returns to North Carolina in 2025. Dreamville Fest is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary the weekend of April 5 and 6 at Raleigh's Dorothea Dix Park.
The first wave of pre-sales will begin on December 11 at 9am. ET, with various general admission and VIP packages available at Dreamville Fest website. These will be the cheapest deals on two-day tickets, which will only increase as the festival date approaches.
While the lineup has yet to be revealed, fans can expect another star-studded affair in 2025 along with dozens of delicious food vendors, area-wide art installations, merch booths and the famous Dreamville Ferris Wheel on the festival grounds.
Fans had a lot to say in the comments section of the Instagram post about the festival's return. “It seems 5 years already crazy to hear. Especially if I never lost one,” wrote one person.
Another suggested: “I'll come, but we can bring better speakers for the climb stage this year.”
There were fans who even called for J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar to get back on good terms so the “Not Like Us” rapper could headline the festival.
“April 5 & 6, 2025 Register now to be the first to get presale access at dreamvillefest.com or by texting DREAMVILLE to 68624,” Dreamville captioned the announcement on IG. “Presale starts 11/12 at 9am EST.”
The 2024 festival had J. Cole headlining, but his set is best remembered for his apology to Kendrick Lamar as he backed off his “7 Minute Drill” diss track and bowed out of the controversy.
“That doesn't fit my spirit,” Cole said in April. “This does not disturb my king's peace. What I want to say here tonight is to do this and in this s–t, try to find a little corner and downplay this catalog and the greatness of it, I want to say right now tonight, how many people think that Kendrick Is Lamar one of the greatest mothers to ever touch the mic? Dreamville, you love Kendrick Lamar, right? As do I.”
The North Carolina rapper continued, “I just wanna come here and be out in public like, bruh, that was the dumbest, dumbest s–t. I say all this to say that it made me feel like I did 10 years ago when I was moving wrong. And I pray that God will line me back to my purpose and my path, I pray that my n-a didn't feel anything and if she did, n-a, I stuck my chin out. Take your best shot, I'll take that s–t on the chin boy, do whatever you do. All good. It's love.”
