The fourth volume of Jacob Collier's Jesse comes!
On Friday, the musician released the sweet single “Mi Corazón” featuring Colombian pop star Camilo, just days after revealing the star-studded lineup for his upcoming album, which will be released on February 29.
“Camilo is without a doubt one of my favorite people and musical forces on the planet,” Collier said in a press statement about the song. “Even though we've only met three times, we really feel like brothers.”
The video follows the two through a colorful half-motion city as the two stars are transported to different spaces and fictional parts of the world. The end of the video captures the singers in the studio laughing and working on the track.
The duo crossed paths in August and “hit it off instantly” before joining the studio the following month. Camilo says that seeing Collier in the studio “filled me with a renewed energy to keep creating.”
“That afternoon's experiments led to 'Mi Corazón,' which excited both of us equally,” Collier said. “When we met a few months later to shoot the music video, we both knew we had a friend for life in each other. I'm so happy this song is out there!”
“Mi Corazon” is part of his upcoming album Djesse Vol. 4which will feature new songs such as “Never Gonna Be Alone” featuring Lizzy McAlpine and John Mayer and “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” featuring John Legend and Tori Kelly, along with previous singles such as “Little Blue” featuring Brandi Carlile and 'Witness Me' featuring Shawn Mendes, Stormzy and Kirk Franklin.
