JAMES has released the second single taken from his new album YUMMY. OUR WORLD is available now on all DSPs and the album will be out on April 12.
“Our World” clings to the hope that the human family can eventually come together to āshare don't spoilā the planet, with Tim singing āOur world is not your world, you simply stole itā and āfalse democracies are cheap, they benefit today from our children's tomorrow and get rich quickly in Eldorado.ā Having sung about environmental issues for many years, Tim doesn't just care about the Earth itself.
Tim says about “Our World,” āThis song is aimed at those who believe that singers should not write political lyrics ā when they conflict with their own. It's a quick summary of how we are destroying ourselves and nature. How we seem to have forgotten that we are part of nature's magnificent living ecosystem and the inevitability of how she is responding to the imbalances we are creating. It also has a whistle and a clever song. PS: It is the only political song on the album.ā
