In 2023, the world, mostly black people, was on pins and needles as we all hoped and prayed for beloved actor/musician Jamie Foxx after he suffered a mysterious medical complication. Since his recovery, Foxx has started sharing information about what happened in bits and pieces.
Foxx was spotted outside a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend, where he opened up to fans about what happened before he became so ill that it landed him in the hospital.
The actor explained to fans that he had a bad headache, which led him to ask a friend for an Advil, and then wake up 20 days later in a hospital with no memory of what happened to him.
“Look, last April 11th, bad headache, asked my boyfriend for an Advil. I was gone for 20 days,” Foxx says in the video. “I do not remember anything. I'm in Atlanta, they told me… my sister and daughter took me to the first doctor. They gave me a cortisone shot.”
He continued to talk about the issue while not revealing what is happening to him on camera.
“The next doctor said, 'Something's going on up there,'” Fox said, pointing to his head. “I won't say it on camera. But it was…”

Last April, news Foxx's hospitalization broke while he was in Atlanta filming his latest Netflix project, Back to action, next to Cameron Diaz.
To combat waves of misinformation and conspiracy theories about his health, Foxx's daughter Corinne explained on social media that her father suffered a “medical emergency” but was already on the road to recovery.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne revealed. “Thankfully, due to quick action and great care, he is already on the road to recovery. We know how loved he is and we appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time.”
PEOPLE mentionted weeks later, Fox was “awake and alert” but would remain in the hospital as doctors continued to monitor him.

Despite presenting more details, conspiracies are still rampant, and that's a shame.
