Jason Kelce has some clever Christmas gift ideas for brother Travis and Taylor Swift: 'Friendship Spaghetti Necklace!'

Jason Kelce stopped Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (Nov. 21) to talk about his new ESPN show, though the conversation naturally turned to his younger brother Travis and Trav's girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

After some small talk about the former Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl-winning center's salad days and how busy he is now that he's retired, the pair got down to the really important stuff: what gifts Jason is getting Travis and Taylor for Christmas?

“This Christmas are you going to buy individual gifts for Travis and Taylor or buy them a couple's gift?” Kimmel wondered. “And what do you get them?”

“It's hard to shop for people who can have anything they want,” Jason admitted. “So should you go for handmade gifts, something sentimental perhaps that is near and dear to them?” When Kimmel asked if Jason was smart enough to make his own handmade gifts, the former dancer said he never did, but that it might work “really well” this holiday season.

“I have something up my sleeve… it would be a spaghetti necklace [a good gift]. It works for me with my kids,” Kelce said. “It would be funny if you make Taylor a spaghetti necklace and suddenly millions of girls are wearing spaghetti necklaces,” Kimmel joked as Kelce coined the sure-to-be-viral phrase “friendship spaghetti necklace.”

Jason Kelce will debut his new ESPN talk show, It's called Late Nighton Jan. 3, with the postseason series airing every Friday during the playoffs. “I always loved [late night shows]. I remember falling asleep watching Conan O'Brien with my friends,” he told Kimmel. “For me, the biggest thing players say they miss when they leave the sport is being around the kids, the locker room, the banter.” That's why the new show will feature a rotating cast of legends, friends, celebrities, former teammates and a live band, all in Philadelphia, of course.

When Kimmel asked if Travis could be on the show, Jason said the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will “probably” be busy — the Chiefs are 9-1 and on track for the playoffs again this year — but “hopefully” he can't because he's committed to trying to win an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl.

“If he says he can't make it on Friday and then we see him at one of his girlfriend's concerts on Friday, we're probably going to have a problem,” Kimmel joked about Travis' frequent trips around the world to catch Swift . on the Eras tour which will end soon. “We all know what the priority is,” Jason said.
