Jason Kelce, Philadelphia Eagles center and brother of Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce, praised Taylor Swift when a reporter asked how he felt about the NFL's unwavering attention to her during Chiefs games this season.
Taylor, who is in a relationship with Travis, has been watching her beau's games since late September — and NFL Network affiliates have been making the most of TV clippings of the pop star cheering him on. Her regular presence at Chiefs games increased viewership, ticket sales and jersey sales and resulted in increased social media followers for NFL and Chiefs related accounts.
“The attention is there because the public wants to see it,” Jason Caleb Noe said, reporter for Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO 9, in a recent interview. “I mean, if people didn't want to see it, they wouldn't show it. I know this.”
“He's a global star,” Jason said. “She's the quintessential artist in the world right now, singer-songwriter, incredibly talented, incredible role model for young women around the world. So I think the NFL would be rather stupid not to, you know, show her and be a role model for all the young girls out there.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said CBS Mornings in November, “I think it's great for the league to have that kind of attention. We welcome it.”

Swift was in the crowd with the Kelce family at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland from start to finish and then on the field to celebrate his team winning the Super Bowl. She kissed Travis on live TV and Travis audibly said “I love you” to her on the field.
“Shout out to the newest members of the Chiefs Kingdom,” Jason joked on the Jan. 31 episode of the podcast. “Taylor Swift, who officially made it to the Super Bowl in her rookie year.”
