Jay Leno has had a tough go of it as of late. In 2022, he suffered second and third degree burns to his face, hands, and chest when one of his vintage cars exploded. In 2023, he broke his collarbone, fractured two ribs, and cracked two kneecaps in a motorcycle accident. Now, the 74-year-old former Tonight Show host is recovering from a broken wrist and some pretty severe bruising to his face and chest after falling 60 feet down a hill.
As Leno explained to Inside Edition, he was on his way to dinner in Pittsburgh when he fell down the side of a hill. “I’m a little beat up,” he explained. “I fell 60 feet. Boom, boom, boom, boom.”
“I hit a bunch of rocks. I broke my wrist and I’m all black and blue,” Leno added.
Remarkably, Leno managed to take the stage and perform a standup set just hours after the incident and he has not had to cancel any subsequent shows as a result of his injuries.
That brother is in deep gambling debt.
