Jay Worthy, the Compton rapper who was in between the performers at Kendrick Lamar's recent Pop Out concert, he announced an album with Californian Dām Funk. The new album, Magic Hourlands July 12 via Empire. Below, watch the video for the musicians' new single, “105 Westfeaturing Ty Dolla $ign, Channel Tres, DJ Quik and A-Trak.
“105 West” follows Worthy and Dām Funk's recent song with DRAM, “West side.” The artists had previously met, in 2021, for “Everywhere” and “Moonlight.”
Earlier this year, Worthy reunited with producer Sean House for new album Lndn Drgs Connected 2. And, last year, he shared the collaborative projects Nothing bigger than the program (with Roc Marciano) and The Am3rican Dream (with Kamaiyah and Harry Fraud).
