This is the 4th EP from Jaysin the Sin God. Signed to DJ Clay's label Armed Robbery Entertainment, he has also dropped 13 mixtapes & a few EPs during his career to this point either The Process series that pays tribute to the timeless Lil Wayne Dedication series or his 2nd EP The Legend of Joe Dirt. Chapter 17/Psychopathic Records producer Shaggytheairhead helped make it happen Palm Trees 'n Post Office the best thing he has ever done and he comes back 10 months later hoping Change.
The title track is a Memphis trap opener that talks about the need to make a change in order to live a better life, while “PPL Hate Me” follows the eerie trap route by speaking instrumentally about haters similar to “Hated Me ” from Anybody Killa's sophomore effort, albeit a psychopath. First record Hatchet Warrior. “Fake Love” comes halfway through the EP saying he's not with all this crap in a bleak trap, while the cloudy hybrid trap “Me, Myself & I” says he's only himself until the end. “Disconnected” ends Change in the form of a snare bass feeling some kind of disconnect as his brain rots.
Palm Trees 'n Post Office it really took Jaysin to a whole new level musically and even though I still prefer it Changeis yet another good listen from the A•R signee ahead of his upcoming, highly anticipated debut studio album, produced by his mentor DJ Clay, which was said to be finished earlier this summer. The production that Deadboy Grim cooks up here is trap, Memphis rap and cloudy as Jaysin jumps on the mic with a fresh perspective.
