Bookended by three-night residencies in Woodstock, New York, and Menlo Park, California, it's preceded by two separate shows in Illinois, one headlining the Evanston Folk festival and the other a solo show at Navy Pier's Chicago. Tweedy released his most recent solo album in 2020 Love is kingin conjunction with his book How to write a song and went on a special tour promoting both. Another book came out last year, World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Musicand covered songs by Woody Guthrie and Bill Fay.
