Jennie of BLACKPINK has apologized after a video surfaced of smoking a vape indoors.
The video, which was released on July 2nd as part of a vlog on her personal YouTube channel, showed the K-pop singer vaping while getting her hair and makeup done by members of her team.
After some fans criticized her actions as disrespectful, Jennie has issued a public apology through her label, OA Entertainment.
“Jennie acknowledges and deeply regrets her mistake of vaping indoors and causing inconvenience to the staff,” the statement reads. “Jennie has personally apologized to all the staff on-site who may have been affected.”
“We apologize to her fans who have been disappointed through this incident. We hope to prevent this from reoccurring in the future.”
Next time Jennie vapes (hopefully outdoors), perhaps she’ll give GWAR’s Bud of Gods cartridge a try. She (and everyone else) can take advantage of a special BOGO 50% off sale now through Sunday, July 14th.
