Jennifer Lopez Cancels This Is Me… Live Tour: 'I Am Completely Heartsick'

Jennifer Lopez has canceled her This Is Me… Live tour just a month before the trek was scheduled to kick off in Orlando.

Live Nation announced the news on Friday (May 31), saying that “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.” The North American run was scheduled to begin on June 26 at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida and run through mid-August, with shows booked at venues across the United States and parts of Canada.

To her Website, the 54-year-old singer-actress shared a personal statement with her fans. “I am completely heartbroken and devastated that I let you down,” she wrote. “Please know that I would not do this unless I felt it was absolutely necessary. I promise I'll make it up to you and we'll all be together again.”

“I love you all so much,” Lopez added. “Until next time…”

This Is Me… Live was meant to be the Hustlers the star's first concert tour in five years, supporting her latest album This is me… Now. It first announced its tenure in February, a month before rescheduling seven stops due to routing problems.

Lopez's team is now working to issue refunds to fans who purchased tickets. Those who purchased seats through Ticketmaster will receive them automatically, while those who went through third-party resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub and VividSeats should contact their points of purchase for more details.

The “I'm Real” singer kicked off the month by co-chairing the 2024 Met Gala — which she attended in a shimmering silver Schiaparelli gown — alongside Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny and Zendaya. Her latest film, directed by Brad Peyton Atlaspremiered on Netflix on May 24.

While promoting the film in Mexico City with actor Simu Liu last week, things got awkward when a reporter asked her about the ongoing marriage rumors. “Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real?” the reporter asked, to which Lopez replied with a tight smile, “You know better than that.”
