Jess Glynne
Hi, I'm Jess Glynne and this is behind the photo with Billboard. This photo was taken at Rack Studios in North London, where I recorded much of this album. I remember quite specifically, I wrote the intro to the album. And this was a moment where I was obviously listening to the record and my friend Jolene, who is my creative director, let's take a little photo. This is a really beautiful moment, because there were actually some tears that day. This photo is me on stage last year on Radio 1, this was a pretty special moment for me because I hadn't been on stage for, I'd say, three or four years. It's been a minute, it was actually like a huge relief to be on stage and everyone's reaction, and this moment captures it all. This is a photo of me at Wembley Stadium with the Spice Girls. And this was right before our last show. This was one of the most surreal moments of my life. The Spice Girls were the first concert I went to at Wembley Arena when I was a kid, my manager came up to me and said: The Spice Girls are getting back together and doing a tour and they want you to go on tour with them. . And I said, shut up. And he said, yeah, do you want to do it? And I thought: Is this real? Fast forward, it was real. I went on tour with the Spice Girls. And it was one of the craziest moments and probably one of the highlights of my career. And I'll never forget the first time I walked into that stadium. And there you can see that and I really felt like a little child. So that was a moment I will never forget. This is me pouting in my new merch hat that says I'm taking you to breakfast. And that's a lyric from my musical. “Enough” is a really important song for this album. It was the first song I wrote and decided would be on the album, it kind of prepared me for the message of this record. And like when we were announcing the album, the only song that made sense to release at that time was this song because it sums up the journey that I've been on and where I am now. And it's crazy because the songs have evolved for me in their meaning over the years, but when I listen to them now it's like a really nice, reassuring message that I am enough.
