Jimmy Page and Gibson have introduced the 1964 SJ-200 Signature Model and 1964 SJ-200 Collector's Edition acoustic guitars.
Crafted by the luthiers at Gibson Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana, the exclusive new models are replicas of the SJ-200 acoustic guitar that Page played on Led Zeppelin's self-titled debut album. He was also seen playing an SJ-200 when he performed “White Summer/Black Mountain Side” during a rare solo television appearance on the “Julie Felix Show” on April 26, 1970.

The standard Jimmy Page 1964 SJ-200 is limited to 100 and offers a stunning Cherry Tea Sunburst finish with highly flamed AAA maple for the back and sides, plus AAA Sitka spruce for the top. The Super Jumbo body has multi-ply binding on the top and back and is slightly deeper than a standard SJ-200 at the neck joint, giving it different sound characteristics than other SJ-200s.
The three-piece neck is also heavily flamed maple and features a round profile, a bound rosewood fingerboard with 20 standard frets, and graduated mother-of-pearl crown inlays. Other details include a '60s-style solid rosewood Mustache bridge plate, adorned with '60s-style mother-of-pearl hourglass and teardrop inlays, and a gold-tone Tune-O-Matic bridge with nylon saddles. On the bound headstock are gold Kluson Waffleback tuners with Keystone knobs. Additionally, Jimmy Page personally signed the soundhole label of each SJ-200, and the guitars were aged by Gibson's Murphy Lab according to “Page's exacting standards and memory.”
Meanwhile, the 1964 SJ-200 collector's edition is limited to just 50 units, features Page's signature on the back of the headstock, and was physically played by the legendary guitarist. Otherwise, it shares the same specifications as the model described above. Both the SJ-200 and SJ-200 Collector's Edition come in a hard case with “Zoso” logo, a vintage-style Gibson “The Garden” strap, and an additional Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold-plated brass saddles . The Collector's Edition also comes with a pick holder with a pick used by Jimmy Page and a handcrafted wooden Gibson guitar stand.
The exclusive SJ-200 model sells for $12,999, while the Collector's Edition costs $19,999. You can buy one through Gibson. website or Reverberation.
