Julión Álvarez and Su Norteño Banda capture their ninth No. 1 at Advertising signRegional Mexican Airplay chart as “Buscandole a La Suerte” climbs to No. 1 on the chart dated January 13.
After seven weeks in the top 10, the song tops the list with 6.7 million audience impressions earned during the period Dec. 29-Jan. 4 week of tracking, down less than 1% from last week, according to Luminate.
“Buscandole a La Suerte” was released on September 29 via Fonovisa/UMLE. It is from Norteño Banda's 12 song Presentation album, which peaked at No. 10 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart in December. It was the group's 11th consecutive top 10 on the tally.
As “La Suerte” moves to the top of the chart, it knocks another Fonovisa/UMLE track off the lead: Banda Los Recoditos' “Vas a Querer Volver” sinks 1-3 with a 14% drop in impressions (to 6 million).
