Justin Timberlake had fans buzzing on Wednesday (January 17) when he posted what appears to be a taste of an upcoming musical era.
“EITIW,” she captioned a series of Instagram photos from what appears to be a music video, with fans speculating the single will be called “Everything I Thought It Was.” Redditors even spotted a trademark application filed by a mysterious LLC early last year for that phrase, as well as “Everything I Thought It Was…A Sonic Film.”
A poster appearing on the Instagram carousel says “MISSING” at the top and “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?” Tongue-in-cheek details include: “Age: Infinite. Height: Feels like 10′ tall. Weight: Up? Eyes: Accuracy? Hair: It depends.”

On January 8, fans noticed that all posts on the 'SexyBack' singer's Instagram account had been deleted. The only thing left was a profile picture of Timberlake, which showed his eyes sending a piercing stare into a car mirror.
If Timberlake releases a new album, it would be his sixth album and his first since 2018 Man of the Woods. This project marked his fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where he charted for a total of 19 weeks. A few days after the album's release on February 2, he performed at halftime of Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.
In September, Timberlake reunited with *NSYNC to release “Better Place” for them Trolls Band Together soundtrack, marking the group's first music release since 2002 (when the Neptunes' remix of 'Girlfriend,' featuring Nelly arrived).
