Justin Timberlake was in the middle of a fun cut through his 2002 solo hit “Cry Me a River” Saturday night at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, when he spotted someone in the audience who appeared to be in danger. As the band continued to play, a TikTok video of the moment showed JT repeatedly looking to the side and urgently pointing to a spot on the floor as audience members motioned to someone about 25 feet from the stage who appeared to need help.
As the band continued to bomb, security entered the crowd and Timberlake asked for the house lights to be turned on so they could see where the trouble was. “The house is alight, thank you. Sorry everybody, one second, one second. We need help here about five rows back,” Timberlake said looking concerned.
“We are fine;” he asked after a brief pause before giving a thumbs-up and saying, “no, no problem” and clapping for a crisis seemingly averted. The Tik Tok of the moment contained a note that read: “Do you have the full video? That was the lady in front of me. It is OK. Luckily, the perpetrators were close by and they were watching her while we got Justin's attention.”
Timberlake kicked off his Forget Tomorrow 2024 World tour in Vancouver on April 29 and has played 14 more dates so far, with the next scheduled show taking place tonight (June 4) at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
