In recent years “swatting” has become the latest trend among Americans who want to annoy and disrupt the daily lives of people they just can't stand. Although it was mainly meant for politicians, as of late celebrities have been taken down as people simply have nothing better to do these days.
Now, it appears streaming superstar Kai Cenat has fallen victim to the swatting trend as the police were called to his residence just as he began his high profile. Mafia 2. According to TMZsomeone decided to see Cenat right away when he started his month-long live streaming marathon and called the authorities to report a trespasser at Kai Cenat's house. When the police arrived, they asked the people in the residence to leave while they combed the rooms to make sure things were up and up.
Once they realized it was much ado about nothing, the stream got back on track, but unfortunately, the swatting efforts didn't end there.
Per TMZ:
The next day, however, the officers received another call – this one was much more serious.
As KC documented on his feed, cops rushed to the scene after someone reported a shot at the home … which was eventually treated as a call.
Unfortunately for Cenat, it didn't stop there … because on Sunday, officers received two more calls about alleged trouble at the home.
Following the latest incident, police are now monitoring calls made to Kai Cenat's home and have a direct line to ring him to make sure things are okay on his end. Although police are investigating the calls, no arrests have been made. With the rest of the month to go, we wouldn't be surprised if there were two more attempts. We just hope the police catch whoever is wasting everyone's time with this child's toy.
