Kai Wachi is beloved for his hard-hitting dubstep, but his latest single, “Happier By Now,” takes on a more melodic essence.
Wachi has reunited with Lø Spirit, who he collaborated with in 2023 to release “Hollow,” one of EDM.com's top songs of the year. The new single epitomizes his ability to weave emotional depth with relentless, uplifting drops.
Lø Spirit's alt-rock-infused vocals fuse effortlessly with Wachi's distinctively militant style to create a dynamic fusion that pulses with raw energy and emotional resonance. There's palpable anticipation for what lies ahead for the bass producer, particularly with his upcoming EP on the horizon.
Wachi is also preparing for his ““Morphosia” tour, which will begin in March. With 25 dates and a new stage design called “The Cage,” it's a safe bet that fans will be hearing “Happier By Now” as well as a slew of unreleased ids as it travels the country.
