Vultures it is among us. On Tuesday, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign shared the Jon Rafman-directed trailer for the long-gestating LP, released under the super duo's ¥$ moniker.
The dark video, backed by the LP's title track “Vultures,” sees sepia-toned shots of backstage rooms, owls, basements and black-cloaked men wielding massive weapons. West, wearing a black ski mask, appears several times in the video. A quick scene appears to show West's scene Doda house on fire.
The visual ends with the announcement of release dates for three different volumes of the album.
Volume 1 comes out on February 9th, Volume 2 on March 8th, and Volume 3 on April 5th. West also shared Instagram Story posts with cover versions of each volume, which features a seemingly sandy hill in front of crashing waves. The first volume has a beige color scheme, the second volume a white black and the third has a dark blue shade.
West premiered the joint album, Vultures, at a party in Miami during Art Basel in December. also launched a mobile-only platform called Yews, a portmanteau of Yeezy and News, which it reportedly asked to acquire trademarked in October. Nicki Minaj, Kodak Black, Freddie Gibbs Playboi Carti and Chris Brown are expected to appear on the album.
