After a year that has certainly not been without its ups and downs, at Kasablanca we clearly see the path forward.
The enigmatic electronic music duo have announced the release of their debut album, which will soon arrive in two distinct parts. However, the record is not just a musical milestone: it is a deeply personal project that carries significant weight in the wake of Micky Kasablanca's cancer diagnosis in early 2024.
Shrouded in mystery, often letting their music speak louder than words, the talented live electronic group are well positioned to deliver their most impactful work yet. Titled Higher resolution, The highly anticipated album will include previously released singles “Terminal Feeling” and “Remission,” the latter a collaboration with Lane 8 released in the wake of Micky’s aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
With the announcement also comes Kasablanca's most ambitious touring plans yet. Fans will be able to enjoy their “new live experience” on the road starting this fall, and in the meantime, stay tuned for the release of the first chapter of Higher resolution October 4th.
