In a recent interview with Rolling rock, Hudson explained that while she has always loved music, she was nervous about releasing a full album for fear of criticism and rejection. But after spending time in the studio with her fiance Danny Fujikawa and songwriter Linda Perry, Hudson was able to—literally—find her voice and craft an album she's now extremely proud to share with the world.
“When I knew it was done and everything was mastered and I signed it, it was like giving birth to a baby — it really felt like that,” she says. “I was incredibly emotional. But what was interesting was that I wasn't afraid.”
