KATSEYE & LA Rams Cheerleaders, Anderson .Paak & JY Park To Team Up For MAMA Awards Collaborative Performances

With the 2024 MAMA Awards just around the corner, and for the first time, the event will hold a ceremony in the U.S. To celebrate, two new performance collaborations featuring a mix between world music and K-pop have been announced.

Anderson .Paak and JY Park will team up for a performance during the event, before KATSEYE takes the stage with the Los Angeles Rams cheerleaders for an energetic set.

“The best blues funk performance in MAMA history will be presented with me playing the piano while Anderson plays the drums and thrilling the audience with our live performance,” JY Park said in a press statement.

The three-day event, which celebrates K-pop's brightest stars, will kick off on November 21 at the Hollywood Dolby Theater in Los Angeles for the first time, where YOUNG POSSE, ILLIT, RIIZE and TWS will also perform. The award ceremony will then take place at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on November 22nd and 23rd, with ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, IVE, ME:I and TREASURE performing on the first day and Aespa, INI, ZEROBASEONE, LEE Young Gee. and MEOVV take the stage on day two. Actress Park Bo-gum and actress Kim Tae-ri will host the event in Japan.
