Kelly Rowland has been seen in a tense moment with a security guard at Cannes Film Festival.
The singer appeared to be having a heated conversation with the female worker as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of the French-Italian film Marcello Mio.
A video circulating on X/Twitter showed Kelly, 43, posing on a carpeted staircase in front of the event when the security guard gestured to move her along.
Placing a hand behind Kelly’s back, the security guard then appeared to be issuing instructions to Kelly as she began to climb the stairs.
Kelly then turned to the woman and raised a pointed finger a her face and seemingly reacting badly to the woman’s words.
After ascending further, Kelly turned again to speak strongly to the guard.
A number of social media users attempted to lipread what was said in the video, with some believing Kelly told the woman, “Don’t talk to me like that.”
Kelly herself has not publicly addressed the incident, however when she posted images of herself from the event to her Instagram account, fans were quick to comment with their support.
“Whoever that lady was..TRUST, she will be dealt with!” wrote one.
“Kelly what that lady had said on the stairs, and do we need to address her??” queried another.
