When I was in high school I had just moved to Nashville. We waited outside the barricade at the CMT Awards when they were still in Nashville. We just waited for the artists to come because we wanted to take pictures and meet them and I remember Keith Urban came and I have a photo with him as a fan. Like one of the craziest moments of my life. Obviously, it feels very full circle going from being the kid outside the barricade to now being the host of the show.

It's spring and it's a party, it's a party, that's what a big celebration is supposed to feel like, so the clothes definitely reflect that and I'm a girly girl and part of hosting is having fun with fashion and playing and to do the things. quick changes and all that, so I think there are seven styles in total.

I wanted to find a way to say thank you and also challenge myself to rebuild it when I was 30. The way I would sing it now sounds very different to how I recorded it when I was 19 and it was a lot of fun to discover and I'm proud of it and it's also a reflection of the new music that's coming.
