Narrator:
Kendrick Lamar ends 2024 with a bang! A just announced tour with SZA and dropping more music? Hold the presses! Kendrick just announced that in 2025 he will go on tour with his label's R&B queen, SZA for the Grand National tour. Apple Music has announced that Kendrick's hit “Not Like Us” is the top song of 2024. The Grammy-nominated diss track marks the first No. 1 by K.Dot on Apple Music's Year-End World Songs Chart. Kendrick then entered an exclusive list, he is one of four artists to simultaneously claim the top 5 spots on the Billboard Hot 100. “squabble up” debuted at No. 1, followed by “tv off” at No. 2, “Luther” at No. 3, “wacced out murals” at 4 and “hey now” at 5. Oh, I forgot to mention that Kung Fu Kenny's latest album 'GNX' has climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. And if the rumors are true, K.Dot isn't done making new music. While on IG Live, West Coast rep and SiriusXM radio host DJ Hed hinted that Kendrick could be dropping more music sooner rather than later. DJ Hed teased: “We're not going to give them too much. I will say this: the house ain't over…” If one thing's for sure, it's a good time to be Kendrick Lamar. Looking forward to new music. Stay tuned for more hip hop news here on Billboard.
