Kevin Hart has been building a friendly bromance with world-famous online streamer and gamer Kai Cenat for a while now, and it's gotten to the point where Hart would love to see Cenat play him if a Lifetime movie ever gets made of.
In a recent interview with Pulse, the Jumanji actor said that Cenat would be the perfect role to play in a biopic about himself, even though we've never seen Cenat in a movie or TV series to date. Despite this, Hart believes the player has what it takes to become a star and explained that Cenat would convert people into believers if given the chance to shine on the set of a film.
Per Vibe:
Hart, 45, named award-winning streamer Kai Cenat as someone he believes could give a “phenomenal” portrayal of him in a biopic one day. The comedian and actor humorously clarified that those discussions haven't taken place yet, as he's not “that old”.
“Are we there? “Kevin, who do you want to play you?” Oh my God,” he began. “I mean, when we get to that point, it's definitely a great conversation. I'd say in a perfect world, in the future – because I had a feeling they'd be able to knock it out of the park because of the way it's going to be – Kai Cenat.
He added, “Cut out the dreads and stuff, I think he can go in there and put out an amazing performance.”
While we're sure Kevin wholeheartedly believes that Cenat has what it takes to make a stellar iteration of himself, we're not sure anyone would actually want to see a Kevin Hart biopic just yet (sans takes). Maybe in the future, but even then Cenat won't look very young anymore. I am just saying.'
Still, we love seeing these two goofs on Cenat's live stream, so we're not crazy about the suggestion, and if someone actually greenlights a Kevin Hart biopic in the next few years, it'll be interesting to see if the Kai is up for the challenge.
