The Kid Laroi becomes vulnerable in the upcoming Prime Video documentary Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named Laroiand in a new clip shared exclusively with Advertising signthe 20-year-old Aussie star talks about his current state of mind as he navigates the beginning of adulthood.
“Maybe I just feel lost. Maybe I'm just going through what most people my age probably go through,” he says in the clip. “I guess the difference is that this is the time for people to figure out what they want to do in life. I already know what I'm doing in life. I have a job and a family and a lot of people to support and stuff like that, so I don't really have time to be a lost teenager. I'm just lost with a job.”
Directed by Michael Ratner, the documentary takes viewers on a journey, following The Kid Laroi – born Charlton Howard – and how he deals with fame amid the massive commercial success of Justin Bieber's 'Stay' collaboration leading to The first time debut album, which arrived in November and included the singles “Love Again” and “Too Much” featuring Jung Kook and Central Cee.
Prime Video is celebrating the Doctor's arrival by hosting an interactive viewing party and live Q&A between fans and The Kid Laroi from his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday at 4 p.m. PT. The full movie comes out on Prime Video on Thursday.
